My dear friends,

I am planning a birthday celebration on 11 October and you are invited!

This promises to be a memorable gig, invite your friends, even if I don't know them because we have a massive venue.

The agenda for the evening is very simple:

·           Bring a camping chair or blanket and a picnic basket with the stuff that you would like to eat and drink. – We are going to celebrate underneath the stars.

·           For our entertainment we will have a bright star, Mathys Roets behind the microphone.

·           There will be plenty of ice for your drinks.

·           We are planning a monumental bon fire after the concert.

·           To raise some funds for my wheelchair, a Lucky Draw will be held, R100/$12.50 a ticket.

This is a Woodstock type of party, be as casual as possible… Shoes are not a necessity but love is.

I look very forward to an evening of fun and laughter with you. Book the date in your calendar please?

Some people wanted braai facilities, IT IS DONE, 3 big braai’s will be braai ready after Mathys Roets performed (20:30), I’ll supply decent “Bushvelt wood”, you bring your utensils and a torch is a good idea.

Bronberg guest house and restaurant is sponsoring “Pap and Sous” – I need to know how many want, so tell me China, can I put you on the list?

Finally: The Woodstock birthday bash is essentially FREE, be warned -we are going to try and sell you a “Lucky Draw Ticket” , funds thereof are going toward the “Get Dieter off his ass” fund, so it’s a good cause and on top of that you get a chance at three cool prizes:

•  Big prize: A Dieter Marzinger original painting, will show you photograph shortly. I’d buy multiple tickets to up my chances China!
•   Consolidation prize: A case of expensive red wine, again, generously sponsored by Bronberg wine cellar. 
• A micr-light flight with instructor pilot Andy Zylinski.
