"Arab Woman"

The work started with a single painting, when I had finished it I showed it to Celeste, my
ex-wife, she quite accurately commented that it was "a bit scary".
I agreed, it wasn't my intention and it fascinated me to figure out why?
It had to do with the dark the dark color, there is also a cold blue in the grey. The eyes
also are wide suggesting fear or surprize and the angled eyebrow and to it dramatically.
I then went out to change the "feel" of the painting, in mirror image...

Even signed it in mirror image, whitty?
I think the two paintings Must be mounted Next to each other,

I hope the client does it so, I think it works and it has a story, good thing.
