"Church at Night".

2005
I was told that if you want to learn discipline in painting, do water color. I now have a greater
understanding of that advice. Water color requires that you plan your work very carefully, mistakes are often
impossible to fix, so you got to get it right first time.
This painting is my first water color. I also enjoyed doing this artwork because it had two light
sources, the moon being the obvious, the light from within the church the other. An aspect that I haven't
reproduced again and one that you will observe seldomly.
Dieter Marzinger, famous South African artist who happens to be a mouth painter who
specializes in oil painting on canvas and watercolor paintings.
This original landscape water colour painting is not for sale.
