My first  attempt at a flower, I don't like the typical still life "flowers in a vase" paintings, this angle and composition suites me better and the green and red opposite color,  play off is lovely. I signed my name in two directions because the painting can be turned and still make sense.

This painting now hangs on a friends wall next to a Munro and Bosch , what a honor [I bestow on the old masters].
