"Inner City Church".

2004
Lots of reflection on photo, unavoidable really.
My first attempt at using a pallet knife, thick paint spread on the canvas like butter, a rich
effect but a mean jaw workout and lots of frustration due to angle limitations, I vowed never to do this again but
you know the cliche: "Never say never..."
The church comes from memory of the one we had at Boys Town, it was so small and quaint, the rest
of the painting had no reference but purely imagination.
I tried my best in using depth perception and think I achieved it quiet well.
And impressionist landscape artwork from the mouth painter artist Dieter Marzinger who
lives in South Africa, the artwork is oil painting and is not for sale.
