"Pearl Spotted Owlet"

It took me 3 weeks to get the bark done, I just couldn't figure it out initially, so there are many layers on top of each other, a happy mistake because it gave the bark tremendous texture.
The owlet took 8 hours and the light spot on the eye transformed the end result in a flash.

I love the composition: a round pupil in a round eye, in a round head in a round hole in a round tree, that's funny.
