My first attempt at Mouth art.

My first one
To Mom, you put a pencil in my mouth.
More Information:
A pencil sketch on normal printing A4 paper, you got to start somewhere. The pencil was so hard to control, it
seemed to have a will of its own, straight lines was a nightmare, you can see my inability on the frame. I thought
to myself that this was maybe a dumb idea, if straight lines are so difficult how are you going to cope with
complex tasks?
It was done with a pencil taped at the end of a stick, I thank Maxine Sutherland for taking the initiative,
making me a makeshift easel out for bricks and cardboard.
She left me saying: "Draw me a nice picture by the time I come back from holiday" and the rest is
history...
I didn't use a reference, I just drew out of my head and soon I was gone to my own space, a quiet tranquil place
where frustrations and limitations seem to disappear.
Dieter Marzinger is a mouth painter from South Africa, a Mouth Painter, this is his
first pencil sketch, a landscape artwork of the Transkei, a unique region on the eastern coast or also known as the
wild Coast.
This art work is not for sale.
