A good friend Eugene Botha took me there not long after my accident, it was a great holiday and a tonic to an injured soul. We gotta do this again Gina!

I used oil paint on paper, I didn't have the confidence or money to buy canvas. When I look back at this painting I cringe at my skill level, luckily "Practice develops skill".

"Uitkyk"  is a family owned holiday home at a beautiful location called Glenmore, situated on the very tip of Kwa Zulu Natal, south coast.
The place is something like 80 years old, very big, it has 4 bedrooms and sleeps 8 people the best part of all is its closeness to the ocean. You can throw a stone into the water from the lawn. No walled perimeter, no buildings in view, great views accessable by wheelchair and cement walkway to beach, it's rough but we tough, ready and willing right?
